Monkeys are loud

I honestly have never experienced monkeys in their natural habitat, and let me tell you--it's loud. Comically so. Harrison and I discovered this first hand today at the Nashville Zoo. Technically, I guess it was gibbons we encountered, but for the sake of simplicity we'll call them monkeys. They were swinging from trees and doing that "ooh ooh, aah aah" thing that they're so famous for. Anyway, we saw elephants, meerkats, and a red-crowned crane--not to mention some brilliant hyacinth macaws. Our fantastic neighbors Tuesday, Madie, Matt, Brittany, and Hunter came with us and it was a really nice time. We didn't spend TOO long there, because naptime came quickly, but it was just perfect. The highlight was probably riding the carousel all together. Harrison and I sat on a little frog with a saddle. He looked like a racing frog, if there is such a thing. Zoos rock. Hopefully we can get back there one more time with Daddy before the season is over.

A trip to the zoo as a one year old-now that's mod. Bet all of you had a great time. Wondering how far you drive to such a nice zoo.
Those kids are soooo cute!
